Volcanic Laserworks

Welcome to Volcanic Laserworks. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our products and services. By placing an order with Volcanic Laserworks, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Volcanic Laserworks provides custom laser engraving, laser cutting, and related design services for personal, commercial, and promotional products.
Because many of our products are custom-made, each order is unique and produced according to customer specifications.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without notice before an order is accepted.
- Additional design work, revisions, or material changes may result in additional charges.
- Shipping, taxes, and applicable fees are calculated separately unless included in the quote.
3. Payment
Payment may be required in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- PayPal
- Cash (local pickup)
- Other approved payment methods
Orders will not begin production until payment has been received.
4. Custom Artwork & Design Approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing all proofs before approving production.
Approval confirms that:
- Spelling is correct.
- Dates are accurate.
- Artwork placement is acceptable.
- Sizes and dimensions meet expectations.
Once approval is given, Volcanic Laserworks is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof.
5. Customer-Supplied Artwork
By submitting artwork, logos, or graphics, you represent that:
- You own the rights to the artwork, or
- You have permission to use it.
Customers are solely responsible for any copyright or trademark infringement arising from submitted materials.
Volcanic Laserworks reserves the right to refuse any artwork believed to violate intellectual property laws or contain unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
6. Production Times
Estimated production times are provided as a guideline only.
Production may be delayed due to:
- Material availability
- Equipment maintenance
- Large order volume
- Weather events
- Carrier delays
- Circumstances beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order has been delivered to the shipping carrier.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Volcanic Laserworks is not liable for delays, lost packages, or damage caused during shipping. Claims for shipping damage should be made directly with the carrier whenever applicable.
8. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products:
- Custom engraved or personalized items are non-refundable unless they arrive defective or contain an error caused by Volcanic Laserworks.
- Non-custom items may be eligible for return within 14 days if unused and in original condition.
If an error occurs due to our workmanship, we may, at our discretion:
- Replace the item,
- Repair the item, or
- Issue a refund.
9. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before production begins.
Once production has started, cancellation may not be possible because custom materials and labor have already been committed.
Design fees may be non-refundable once work has begun.
10. Natural Variations
Laser engraving is performed on natural materials such as wood, leather, slate, and other substrates.
Customers acknowledge that:
- Wood grain varies.
- Color variations occur naturally.
- Engraving depth may vary slightly.
- Small imperfections are part of natural materials.
These variations are normal and are not considered defects.
11. Customer-Supplied Items
We can engrave certain customer-provided items when appropriate.
However:
- We cannot guarantee engraving results on customer-supplied materials.
- Customers accept the risk that their item may be damaged during engraving due to unknown material composition or manufacturing defects.
Volcanic Laserworks is not responsible for replacing customer-supplied items damaged during processing unless caused by gross negligence.
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, layouts, photographs, website content, and original artwork created by Volcanic Laserworks remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to photograph completed projects for our portfolio, website, and social media unless the customer requests otherwise before production.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volcanic Laserworks shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Lost profits
- Business interruption
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
14. Warranty
We warrant that our products will substantially match the approved design at the time of delivery.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper use
- Misuse
- Exposure to excessive heat, moisture, or chemicals
- Damage occurring after delivery
15. Privacy
Customer information is used solely for fulfilling orders, customer support, and business operations.
We do not sell customer personal information to third parties.
16. Right to Refuse Service
Volcanic Laserworks reserves the right to refuse any order that:
- Violates applicable laws
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains hateful, discriminatory, or obscene content
- Cannot reasonably be completed with available equipment
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
18. Changes to These Terms
Volcanic Laserworks may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions become effective upon posting on our website or otherwise being made available to customers.
